The LEMIS+ Project is part funded through the Northern Ireland European Social Fund Programme 2014 – 2020 and the Department for the Economy.
The LEMIS+ Project is a Belfast City-wide project which seeks to address the issue of long term unemployment targeting those most removed from the job market. It is a voluntary client-centred program which offers:
1-2-1 and group mentoring
Free industry related training
A link to real jobs
Part financed by the EU
The LEMIS+ project has been part-financed by the European Union (EU) through the NI European Social Fund (ESF) programme. This programme aims to combat poverty and enhance social inclusion by reducing economic inactivity, and to increase the skills base of those currently in work and future potential participants in the workforce.
